(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) that crews will retiring a gas service at 18 West Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township on Thursday, June 18. The project will require a stretch of the roadway to be closed during work hours.
“Road closures can affect traffic throughout the surrounding area, so it is important to be aware of this project and how it may impact your planned route or commute,” Holcomb said. “Please be extra vigilant when driving through or around the work area, and always be prepared for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews, debris, or vehicles that may end up in the roadway.”
Beginning Thursday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will close West Cuthbert Boulevard to all traffic between Lindisfarne Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. The stretch of West Cuthbert Boulevard between Haddon Avenue and West Park Avenue will also be closed to thru traffic.
This project is scheduled to be completed by 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
