The Camden County Department of Public Safety and the Office of Emergency Management has been closely following the chemical spill in southeastern Pennsylvania since Friday night. We have been talking on a regular basis with the state DEP, state OEM, the U.S. EPA, the U.S. Coast Guard and our water utilities over the last 48 hours and they have assured us that our residents are not impacted by the incident in Bristol, PA. We will continue to monitor the situation and update residents if anything changes. That said, American Water has asked for their customers to voluntarily conserve water over the next 24 hours. Otherwise, there are no restrictions on water in Camden County at this time.”
