“We are saddened to have learned of another six souls in Camden County who lost their battle with coronavirus. Our thoughts now turn to the families and friends who have lost loved ones and are mourning during this unprecedented event,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Tomorrow the Freeholder Board will join Jefferson Health New Jersey for the opening of a new testing site on the campus of Camden County College in Gloucester Township. Testing is a critical tool that informs our mitigation efforts and will play a pivotal role in this fight. But a reminder to our residents, now is not the time to start easing restrictions, skirting restrictions, or ignoring stay at home orders. Now is the time to double-down on our efforts and strengthen our resolve. If we combine our collective action with the information gained at this site and elsewhere, we can break the back of this disease and win the war against coronavirus.”
