Camden County Veterans are encouraged to apply for the Camden County Korean War Service Medal, Camden County Vietnam Service Medal, Camden County War on Terror Service Medal, and Camden County Military Service Medal.

Eligibility Requirements:
CAMDEN COUNTY KOREAN WAR SERVICE MEDAL
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Honorably Discharged from the United States Armed Forces
- Must be a current resident of Camden County
- Provide Proof of Service : DD-214 discharge papers or a form 53-55, 553
- Must have served during the following time frame of the Korean War: Between June 25, 1950 and January 31, 1955
This medal will be awarded to all Veterans who served on Active Duty anywhere in the world during the above time frame, including in the United States.
Widows and family members are also entitled to receive this medal posthumously.
CAMDEN COUNTY VIETNAM SERVICE MEDAL
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Honorably Discharged from the United States Armed Forces
- Must be current resident of Camden County
- Provide Proof of Service : DD-214 discharge papers or a Form 53-55, 553
- Must have served during the following time frame of the Vietnam War: Between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975
This medal will be awarded to all Veterans who served on Active Duty anywhere in the world, including the United States.
Widows and family members are also entitled to receive this medal posthumously.
CAMDEN COUNTY MILITARY SERVICE MEDAL
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Honorably Discharged from the United States Armed Forces
- Must be a current resident of Camden County
- Provide Proof of Service : DD-214 discharge papers or a form 53-55, 553
CAMDEN COUNTY WAR ON TERROR MEDAL
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must have served during the War on Terror* or as First Responder to the recovery of the. 9/11/2001 attacks (9/11-2001-5/31/2002)
- Must be a current resident of Camden County. First Responders: current resident or resident during recovery service.
- Military: Proof of Service – DD214. First Responder: Statement of Service for period noted.
*War on Terror: Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom, Nomad Shadow, New Dawn, Inherent Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, Odyssey Lighting.
