The Camden County Office of Education is responsible for processing applications for substitute teacher certification. Anyone who desires to serve as a substitute teacher in a public school district MUST hold a credential in order to do so. Those without a standard instructional certificate or Certificate of Eligibility with Advance Standing must apply for a county substitute credential.
Application forms must be obtained at the Human Resources office of your local school district. To obtain a substitute teacher credential, 60 semester-hour credits from a regionally accredited college or university are required.
