Services: A public awareness educational campaign about the special problems grandparents face as the primary caregivers to their grandchildren including identification of legal, social, health and financial issues affecting grandparent caregivers. The establishment of a Grandparent Information Clearing house where grandparents, service providers and planners can obtain information, publications and referral to available national and local resources including existing grandparent support groups and other organizations involved in grandparent caregiver issues.

Services: Foster Grandparents earn a small, tax-free stipend to cover the cost of serving. They also receive reimbursement for transportation and meals while on duty.

Eligibility Requirements: You must be 60+ years of age, meet certain income requirements, love children and be willing to volunteer 20 hours a week.
