NJLINCS Health Alert Network
The Camden County Department of Health & Human Services is designated as the LINCS Agency to serve Camden County. This is a statewide program that fosters interagency collaboration between public health and government officials via the CHAIN.
Camden County receives funding from the CDC for our Bioterrorism Preparedness Grant. This enables us to provide LINCS region-wide strategic leadership and coordination to plan and respond to public health threats and emergencies, including natural disasters, disease outbreaks and acts of bioterrorism.
Our LINCS team consists of our County Health Officer, LINCS Coordinator, Epidemiologist, Health Educator/Risk Communicator, Partnership Coordinator, Registered Nurse/MRC Coordinator, State Planner, Information Technology Specialist and administrative support staff.
Programs include:
- Disease Surveillance
- Education & Training
- Information Dissemination
- Health Emergency Preparedness
- Planning & Response
In addition, we will be involved in the assessment of training levels and the marketing of courses to meet the needs of the county’s first responders and public health professionals.
