Camden County Correctional Community Engagement Mural

Vote for your favorite mural to be recreated on the outside perimeter wall of the Camden County Correctional Facility. The mural is intended to reflect the following themes and its intersection with both the juvenile and adult criminal justice system:

HOPE • SUPPORT • PEACE • COMMUNITY • FAIRNESS • JUSTICE • EQUITY • INSPIRE • UNITY • ENGAGEMENT

 

Goals of the Mural Design Project:

  • Create a piece of public art on the perimeter wall(s) of the Camden County Correctional Facility that reflects the spirit of community, fairness, equality, equity, and opportunity.
  • Engage communities impacted by the criminal justice system and incarceration with community partners, agencies, and system stakeholders. Create space for genuine conversation and meaningful dialogue to identify opportunities for growth and change.
