(Camden, NJ) – A concert at Cooper River Park scheduled for Thursday, July 13, featuring the Quaker City Stringband has been postponed due to excessive heat and unfavorable weather conditions. The concert is now planned for next Thursday, July 20, at 8 p.m.
“While we always focus on bringing incredible events and entertainers to Camden County, our primary concern is the safety of our attendees and residents,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events. “During days and evenings when the area is facing extreme heat conditions like today, our primary concern is making sure that everyone is somewhere they can safely relax and stay cool.”
