Josefina Rosa
2024 Camden County Prominent Hispanic Award Winner

My name is Josefina Rosa, I was born in New York City, and I am of Puerto Rican decent. I graduated paralegal studies in 1983, I moved to Camden in 1997 and never looked back. I have worked for Cooper University Hospital for nearly 24 years in various roles that have given me great pleasure helping others. I ran in 2006’s election for Camden’s Committee Woman At Large.

Camden is where I successfully owned my first house and turned it into a beautiful home that matches the warmth and the love that I have received from Camden. Sharing the love, I coordinate a lot of philanthropic events through my Jeep club, Los Leathers. Some events include toy drives, Halloween Jeep and Treat, Easter Egg hunts, fundraisers for those who are ill, just to name a few.

Out of all my accomplishments, the hardest that made me the strongest for sure was my battle with Cancer. Currently I am 5 years since my diagnosis, in remission. I am stronger than ever-body mind and soul.
