(Haddon Township, NJ) — The Haddon Township branch of the Camden County Library System, located at 15 MacArthur Blvd, will temporarily close this month due to interior repairs. The William G. Rohrer Memorial Library will be closed from Nov. 8 to Nov. 27.
“The Haddon Township branch is on track to reopen before the end of November,” said Commissioner Melinda Kane, liaison to the county library system. “In the meantime, please feel free to visit another branch of the Camden County Library System.”
As this branch prepares for renovations, it will not be available as a pickup location for any new holds. If residents have any items ready for pickup at the branch, they must check them out by closing on Nov. 6 or the expiration date – whichever comes first. Any waiting items on this branch’s hold shelf after Nov. 6, will be suspended and fulfilled when renovations are complete.
Book drops at this branch will also be closed during the renovations. Due dates will be automatically extended, and residents are also free to return items at any other branch. All other branches are open as normal and residents are encouraged to take advantage of the library system’s 24/7 digital access.
