(Lindenwold, NJ) – Beginning on August 13, crews will begin making improvements to the Haddonfield-Sorrell Horse Road (CR 644) connector which connects Haddonfield Road to Route 130.
“The Board is constantly looking for roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure which can be improved or renovated to better meet the needs of our constituents,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “We believe that one of the best investments we can make for our community is in our travel safety and infrastructure.”
The approximately $566,000 project will include milling and paving, resurfacing of the roadway, drainage repairs, and other improvements. The project is currently expected to last up to 180 days.
“Motorists need to be aware of the construction taking place and plan their daily commutes accordingly. This is a project that will be ongoing for at least several months and will cause congestion and new traffic patterns as a result,” Shin Angulo said. “Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes and be observant of posted instructions or directions.”
