(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water that crews will be performing an emergency sewer main repair on Ferry Avenue in Camden tomorrow, March 20. The repairs will require a full closure of Ferry Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets.
“Crews began this project today with minimal traffic impact, but will need an extra day to finish the repair,” Shin Angulo said. “As with any projects that necessitates the closure of a roadway, motorists should exhibit extra caution when in the construction area, and be mindful of shifting traffic patterns and sudden stops.”
The closure is scheduled to be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
