(Camden, NJ) – Families can now apply for child-care financial assistance as part of a state program designed to help families struggling to afford child-care during the COVID-19 pandemic with so many school districts operating remotely.
The $150 million program provides child-care assistance to families earning up to $75,000 a year that need full-time or part-time care for children whose schools are only offering remote learning. To apply for the aid, go to www.ChildCareNJ.gov.
“We know that many Camden County parents are struggling this fall to balance work commitments and child-care with so many school districts going full-remote in the face of the COVID-19 crisis. Families facing the challenge of how to pay for needed child-care, should certainly take advantage of this aid that’s available,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr.
