Favorite High School Memory: My best high school memory was the Bishop Eustace New Orleans Outreach Trip during June of 2019. This trip was an opportunity to travel to New Orleans and do service projects in various sections of the city. While there I was a part of volunteering at a community garden, a food pantry, an ARC facility, and two charter schools. This was a wonderful experience that allowed me to serve others in New Orleans while growing closer to the few classmates that accompanied me on this trip.

Favorite High School Memory: My favorite high school memory was probably our homecoming football game this year. My friends and I had a friendsgiving dinner before and we all went together afterwards. We were in the fan section for the last time and there was so much school spirit. We also beat Cherry Hill East again so it was a good game and it was really fun.

Favorite High School Memory: My favorite high school memory (and one of my funniest) was from my AP German class a few months ago. One of the kids in my class brought a plastic water bottle to class everyday so one day, my teacher was being funny and threw his water bottle out. Since he was still thirsty, she gave him money to buy a new one and he left a few minutes prior to a lockdown drill. Our class got against the wall during the lockdown drill, but it turned out that it was just a shelter in place, so we didn’t need to sit in silence for 10 minutes of class!

Favorite High School Memory: Participating in the Spring Musicals for my four years of high school, especially this senior year when we were able to perform Mary Poppins before going into quarantine. The memories from our closing night have been comforting to relive as the happiest last moments I shared in our school’s auditorium.

Favorite High School Memory: My fondest high school memory was probably when I received my first medal at a cross country meet during my junior year. Up until that race, I didn’t take running as seriously as I should’ve. Before the race, I worked hard at practice, but I never had a strong drive to improve. However, when this race came, I surprised myself by running under 20 minutes (19:55 in the 5k, almost two minutes faster than my previous personal best) for the first time, as well as receiving a medal for finishing in the top 40 of my race. I know this probably wasn’t the biggest accomplishment in retrospect, but tired me was very proud of himself and vowed to do everything he could to become a better runner from that day forward. I started to love running more and more after that day, and although I regret not being able to run during my senior year (I got injured), I’ll always appreciate the lesson it taught me—try your hardest in all of your endeavors.

Favorite High School Memory: My best high school memory was volunteering for the Leo Club at community events. I enjoyed this community service club the most over them all because I grew a close relationship with the advisor and we always kept busy throughout the school year.

Favorite High School Memory: My favorite high school memory would be a tie between Senior beach day and our religious retreat Kairos. Senior beach day was just full of laughs and smiles with all of my classmates and I had a wonderful time with amazing people. My other favorite memory, Kairos, was an amazing experience both times – once as a retreatant, the other as a leader. From my teachers and fellow students who attended, I learned how to be more accepting and open-minded towards everyone who walks into my life, whether I know them or not. Kairos has allowed me to grow in my faith and love for my friends and without the help of my student and adult leaders, I don’t think Kairos would have been the same.

Favorite High School Memory: My best high school memory was when I helped throw a surprise half-birthday party for our AP Environmental Science teacher, Mr. Miller, and coincidentally, a real-birthday party for my Honors Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Praesel. We even made a carrot cake, which is both of their favorites!

Favorite High School Memory: Some of my best high school memories are from working for the school by way of the co-operative education program . It was an pradical experience like no other, and provided me with life long skills that I was able to use outside of school. I am thankful to my former Electric shop teacher, Mr Swain, for his guidance and for securing a spot for me on the co-op program.

Favorite High School Memory: My best high school memory is without a doubt the trips that I took weekly to tutor. These trips are what I was excited for every week, these trips were something that I took great pride in, and on top of knowing that I was doing good for a little boy or girl, the memories and connections that I have made with them over the past couple of years are priceless. I see them as a family and they are second home to me, these trips for me were not just to tutor, they were to see a family. The trips I took and kids I talked to helped me discover and inspire something in me that I didn’t know was there before. that is why these trips will always be my favorite high school memory.

Favorite High School Memory: My best high school memory is my school’s beach themed football game. Collingswood has one of the most supportive and crazy student sections of all small schools around us. I love that we could all gather for football games with a theme of our choice and show our panther pride in front of the opposing team, our parents, and all others watching. It is something that I will never forget.
