On Wednesday, June 5th, Commissioners Al Dyer and Melinda Kane joined Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen and nearly 100 employees of the 76ers to clean up Farnham Park in Camden City.

The cleanup is part of the Camden Strong initiative and the 76ers’ volunteer program, Project 76. Each season, the employee volunteer program encourages staffers to serve at least 76 hours of volunteer service with several community partners.

“Community cleanups are an important way for all of us to come together and improve the quality of life in our community,” Commissioner Al Dyer said. “We are committed to working with the mayor and enhancing Camden City’s neighborhoods and we are honored to host the Philadelphia 76ers for this special cleanup.”
