(Lindenwold, NJ) – At the public works complex in Lindenwold, more than 100 pieces of equipment are working to keep county roadways passable in the event of winter weather. All personnel are dispatched to 12 winter maintenance districts to salt and plow 1,200 lane miles of roadways across Camden County.

“Our public works department is working hard to make sure Camden County’s roads stay open and safe, no matter what the winter season throws our way,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “We have more than 15,000 tons of salt, 80 trucks and 13 crews ready to address any inclement weather that may impact our region in the upcoming months.”
