(Cherry Hill, NJ) – The Board of Commissioners continued its Summer Concert Series with one performance this week prior to the Freedom Festival on July 3.
Monday’s Sunset Jazz Series show, starting at 8 p.m., featured the Lao Tizer Band at Wiggins Park.
- The Lao Tizer Band is an all-star ensemble featuring Elliott Yamin, Eric Marienthal, Karen Briggs, and Chieli Minucci, bringing jazz, funk, rock, and world rhythms.
“These concerts are for people to come together and be with their fellow community members,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Department of Events and Community Outreach. “We strive to provide our citizens with active nightlife activities, and these concerts accomplish that while showcasing the incredible talent we have in South Jersey.”
Admission to all shows are free and all are welcome to attend.
