On Sunday, in preparation of Memorial Day, Commissioner and gold star mother Melinda Kane joined elected officials, volunteers and community members from Cherry Hill to honor veterans in Locustwood Cemetery. The group placed American flags on the graves of veterans to acknowledge their contributions and sacrifices through their service in the armed forces.
“With Memorial Day around the corner, we want to make sure each and every veteran here in Camden County is honored for serving their country,” Kane said. “This is a wonderful way for the community to come together and show their appreciation for our veterans.”
