Roadwork in Camden County

(Lindenwold, NJ) – PSE&G will be working on Market Street in Camden from Monday, May 6 to Tuesday, May 7 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will be a double lane closure from left to right between Broadway and N. 4th Street.

PSE&G will be working at the intersection of Haddon and Newton avenues from Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The northeast side of the intersection will be closed to southbound traffic on Newton Avenue and westbound traffic on Haddon Avenue and the southwest side of the intersection will be closed to northbound traffic on Newton Avenue and eastbound traffic on Haddon Avenue

PSE&G will be working on Prospect Ridge Boulevard in Haddon Heights on Monday, May 6 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between St. Martins and Haverford avenues.

PSE&G will be working on Erial-New Brooklyn Road in Winslow Township on Monday, May 6 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Berlin-Cross Keys and Williamstown-New Freedom roads.

Crews will be making concrete improvements on Little Gloucester Road in Gloucester Township from Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure between Chews Landing and Coles roads.

 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

 

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
