(Lindenwold, NJ) – County Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water that crews will be installing water service on North 27th Street in Camden tomorrow, June 16. The project will require the full closure of North 27th Street between River Avenue and Hayes Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Any time a roadway is closed to traffic, motorists should expect possible delays and congestion in the surrounding area,” Dyer said. “Always remain extra vigilant when driving through or around active road crews. Be on the lookout for sudden stops, construction vehicles, and any debris that may end up in the roadway.”
This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Wednesday June 16. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
