Police officers, county, city and community leaders interacting with children and working to strengthen neighborhood bonds through food, amusements and public health services. The county health department also provided free vaccinations.
“This is an event that means a lot to our officers and the community because it gives them an opportunity to interact and create a strong dialogue on the matters that mean the most to them,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We invite everyone to come out and enjoy a day of fun with your neighborhood police officers. These community guardians are working with the children and families in the city on a daily basis to create an unbreakable bond for the future.”
