(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be performing a paving restoration at 310 West Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township tomorrow, Aug. 6. The project will require a full closure of the roadway between Stokes Avenue and Linwood Avenue.
“This can be a congested area during morning rush hour traffic, so please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination if you typically commute along this portion of the roadway” Shin Angulo said. “The posted detour route will likely cause sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction. Motorists should be extra careful when approaching and driving through the construction area.”
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will completely close Cuthbert Boulevard between Stokes Avenue and Linwood Avenue. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route utilizing West Park Boulevard, MacArthur Boulevard, and Crystal Lake Avenue to circumvent the construction area.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
