To be eligible to register to vote:
- You are a U.S. Citizen
- You are a New Jersey resident
- You will have resided in the State and County for at least 30 days before the next election
- You are at least 17 years of age
- You are not serving a sentence of incarceration as the result of a conviction of an indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or the United States

To register, a person may fill out a Voter Registration Application. You may register in person at that office, use the above referenced form, register at your municipal clerk’s office, or at any one of the following state offices:
· Division of Worker’s Compensation
· Division of Employment Services
· Division of Unemployment and Temporary Disability
· Division of Taxation
· New Jersey Transit “major terminals”
