FREEHOLDERS LAUNCH 2008 FLU SHOT PROGRAM ON WEDNESDAY AT COOPER RIVER PARK IN PENNSAUKEN

WHAT: More than 2,000 senior citizens are expected
to turn out for the first round of influenza/pneumonia immunization
shots provided by Camden County in 2008. Typically, about 20,000
residents are immunized when the program ends in late November.
Twenty-nine flu shot clinics are on the schedule this year.
WHEN: WEDNESDAY OCT. 15 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Cooper River Park, Jack Curtis Stadium
North Park Drive & McClellan Avenue, Pennsauken
(across from the Cooper River Plaza Apartments)
VISUALS: In addition to people receiving their shots,
there will be a senior fair featuring booths and exhibits providing
health information to senior citizens, lunch and entertainment on
the county’s stage in the park.
