BELLMAWR FIRE DEPARTMENT HONORED FOR EXCELLENCE IN WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH

WHAT: The Bellmawr Fire Department will be recognized by State and County officials as a safety and health Leader in South Jersey. Chief Jim Burleigh will accept the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award from Leonard Katz, Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. and Freeholder Joseph Ripa will present a proclamation in recognition of the achievement.

The presentation of the SHARP Award signifies the importance the Bellmawr Fire Department places on job-site safety. Bellmawr is the first Fire Department in the state to receive this award.
