Camden County freeholders are co-sponsoring a regional
job fair on July 11 at the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill to help workers
left unemployed by the sudden shut-down of Jevic Transportation,
Inc., in the Burlington County community of Delanco.
“Many of these employees live in Camden County
and we have joined with officials in Burlington County and Gloucester
County to assemble at least 45 employers for the workers to talk
to about prospective employment,” said Freeholder Director
Louis Cappelli Jr.
Cappelli said the Workforce Investment Boards (WIB)
in the respective counties are organizing the job fair and hope
to have many more employers participating by July 11 providing valuable
information on helping them focus on finding new jobs.
