Putting Green Is Latest Feature At Camden County Golf Academy
For Immediate Release: June 16, 2009
Contacts: KEN SHUTTLEWORTH (609) 472-8837

Golfers can now use every club in their bag with the opening in time for Father’s Day of the new putting green and sand trap at the renovated Camden County Golf Academy.

“We transformed it into a first rate practice facility in time for its Father’s Day opening last year and the addition of the putting green, along with an adjacent sand trap, completes the mission,” said Freeholder Jeffrey L. Nash, liaison to the Camden County Parks and Recreation Department.

The Golf Academy is on Route 130, across from Cooper River Park, the most active park in the county’s renowned park system. Nash noted gift certificates are available for last-minute shoppers in search of a Father’s Day gift.
