TV Star Kelly Ripa to Attend as Gov. Corzine Swears In Her Dad as Camden County Clerk

WHAT:
Gov. Jon Corzine swears in Joseph Ripa as Camden County Clerk, replacing
James Beach, who now serves as member of the State Senate representing
the Sixth Legislative District. Ripa’s wife Esther and daughters
Kelly and Linda will be on hand for the oath of office, along with
several hundred well wishers and other family members.
Ripa
is the former president of Local 880, Amalgamated Transit Union
representing bus drivers and other employees of New Jersey Transit.
After retirement from his position with the union, he became a member
of the Camden County Board of Freeholders in 2004. A native of Camden,
Ripa lives in Voorhees Township. He is also vice chairman of the
New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund Authority, a commissioner on
the South Jersey Transportation Authority and a volunteer at the
Cathedral Kitchen in Camden.
