Sheriff Billingham Hires 15 Veterans to Work as Officers

Fifteen
veterans, most of whom have served in the Middle East, have been
hired to work as sheriff’s officers in the Camden County Sheriff’s
Department.
“It’s
an honor to have them on our team,” said Sheriff Charles Billingham.
The Sheriff added that the newly hired officers will be sworn in
on June 8 and assigned to providing security in the Camden County
Hall of Justice, including custody of prisoners in the building
for court proceedings.
Billingham
identified the new officers as Louis M. Belsigto, of Pennsauken,
a member of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air National Guard; Louise N.
Bazelak of Barrington, of the U.S. Army and New Jersey Air National
Guard; Robert J. Holland of Cherry Hill, who served with the army
in Croatia, and Neil A. Thorp of Runnemede, a Marine who served
in Iraq.
Also,
David A. Ellerson of Sickerlville, a member of the U.S. Navy; Nicholas
E. Cobian of Audubon, who served in Iraq with the Air Force; Louis
L. Tomassone Jr., of Atco, who served in Kuwait, Iraq and Korea
with the Army; Charles G. Green II, of Pine Hill, who served in
the U.S. Navy; Calvin A. Rouse Jr. of Camden, who served in Kuwait
with the U.S. Army, and Edwin Jimenez of Berlin, a Navy veteran,
and Sean Smith of Runnemede, a Marine who served in Iraq.
Also,
James Gallagher of Berlin, of the U.S. Marine Corps; Justin Clayton
of Gloucester City, who served with the Air Force in Iraq; Nipsey
Rivera of Runnemede, an army veteran who served in Bosnia-Herzegovina,
and Jason H. Callan of Pennsauken who served with the Air Force
in Japan.
