to Post Restaurant Reports on Website
Inspectors Begin Training on New Computer Equipment
Results Posted Directly to Internet

WHAT:
Camden County Restaurant inspectors will be trained on new software
that will allow them to share their findings with Camden County
residents. The Camden County Board of Freeholders plans to publicly
post the results of Health Department restaurant inspections. The
“report cards” will be posted to the county’s
website: www.camdencounty.com
The
electronic recording of the information will increase the efficiency
and effectiveness of the food inspection process. It will use standardized
language and methods to report food protection standards. Restaurant
inspections are now conducted using a paper form process.
In
addition to the restaurant inspections, reports also will be posted
for all school cafeterias and other food-handling enterprises in
Camden County, totaling approximately 3,500 establishments.
