Our
vision is to mobilize the community through resources about volunteerism
in Camden County.
Our mission is to educate residents about volunteerism and meaningful
volunteer opportunities while enhancing community resources and
empowering members of the community.
Some
volunteer opportunities include:
- Mentoring a child
- Teaching an adult to read
- Leading support groups
- Sorting and pricing donations at a charity thrift
shop
- Providing administrative office support in a
busy and exciting non-profit setting
- Working on committees to plan and implement
the agency’s mission
- Organizing or working at a fundraising special
event
- Assisting with meal preparation, serving meals
to the homebound
- Assisting with community awareness and public
relations
- Shopping and running errands, or providing respite
to relieve a caregiver
- Performing data entry and research to assist
a non-profit serve the community
- And so many more opportunities…please
