THOMPSON Thomas C. Jr

 Age 84 of Redington Beach, FL, formerly of Voorhees, NJ
passed away on 6/25/06. Mr. Thompson was born in the Fishtown Section of Philadelphia and attended Phila. Public Sch. He had many years' experience in RE and Ins. At retirement, he was Professor of Business Studies at Burlington Community College, Pemberton, NJ. He initiated the first-degree program in RE and Ins. approved by the State of NJ for licensure and college credit. He was selected as Teacher of the Year in 1981 and he was Professor Emeritus of the College.
He was a US. Marine Corp Officer and served five campaigns with the First Marine Division on Guadal canal and Korea. He attended Princeton Univ. and graduated from Penn. State College with a BA in Finance and earned an MA in Business Ed. from Rider College.
Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Lillian, a daughter Lynn Thompson Dees (Robert) and a granddaughter Lauren A. Dees of Orlando, FL. A memorial service, 7/05/06, Bay Pines Nat'l Cem.
