ROSE, ALFRED, JR.

Age 82 years, of Blackwood, NJ, died on July 4, 2006 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford Division. Born in Camden, NJ, he had lived most of his life in Washington Twp., NJ.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1941 - 45. He was an Airplane Engine Specialist at RCA for most of his career.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Williamstown and the VFW Post # 274.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Emma A. (nee Scardapane), daughters Rochelle (Charles) Lane of Wenonah, Philomena (Alan) Ross of Wash. Twp., Patricia Cressman of Pitman, son Ronald (Sandi) Rose of Pitman, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 9 after 7 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ and from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on Monday. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ at 10 AM. Interment Glouc. Co. Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
