PAYNE, CHAUNCEY BURNETT

 Son of the late William and Audrey (nee Falkner) Payne. Departed this life Tuesday, July 25, 2006, while a patient at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Payne was born April 28, 1936 in Standardsville, VA. and has been a Camden resident for most of his life. He met and married Frances D. Burrell and to this union two daughters were born. Chauncey was a retired employee of the Camden Board of Education.
He entered the Marine Corp during the Korean War.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Celeste Payne and Franchaun Payne-Armstead, a son Shawn Williams, three sisters Zeda Payne, Pansy Dozier and Theresa Conyers, other relatives and friends.
Services will be heldTuesday at 11am in the Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church, Camden. Interment will be in the B.G. William C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Pk. There will be a viewing at the church Tuesday from 9am-11am. Services rendered by STANLEY'SMEMORIAL CHAPEL, CAMDEN, NJ.
