DELL, ANDREW 'ANDY' FRANCIS

Age 89, of Canton, GA, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2006, at his daughter's residence. Mr. Dell was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. A long-term resident of Collingswood, NJ, more recently of Jasper, GA and Elizabeth City, NC.
Mr. Dell AKA the Chief, a Chief Torpedoman in the South Pacific Fleet, he was in the Navy from 1935 to 1955 in which he was a Submariner in WW II and served in the South Pacific Fleet 'Wolf Pack' during WW II.
Mr. Dell was also a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church.
Survivors include his son, Glenn Dell of New Jersey; daughters, Elaine Corriveau of North Carolina and Karen Seagraves of Canton, OH; sisters, Bette Williams of Macon, GA, Dolores Griffin of Pine Hill, NJ, Mary Pritchard of Columbus, NJ, and Rita Graver of Levittown, PA; 9 grandchildren: Ryan and Allison Dell of Oaklyn, NJ, Christopher Davis of Camden, NC, Jennifer Senftleber of Houston, TX, Jessica Davis of Virginia Beach, VA, and James, Jonathan, Andrew and Aaron Eubans of Canton, GA; 3 great grandchildren also survive.
In lieu of flowers make contributions to the American Heart Association in honor of his name, Andrew 'Andy' Francis Dell. There will be no services. There will be a burial at sea. 'FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS.'
